Open rehearsal
Artists performing in the Festival concerts throw open a rehearsal to the public, giving a behind-the-scenes glimpse into how the musicians come together over five days to prepare the four festival concerts.
Date and time: 6pm–7pm on Thursday 24 September

What you’ll hear
Rehearsals are where all the hard work happens to prepare for a performance. While the dress and banter is informal, the work is serious and sometimes very detailed. This is a lovely opportunity to meet the musicians and see how they work. Our 2026 guest composer Victoria Kelly is likely to make an appearance too.
